deleting fund accounts

Due to my not fully understanding the contributions module, I set up some accounts under temporarily restricted that should not be there. They has been no data entered in these accounts. Unable to delete as receive message they are used by another module. Ran the account close to report and identified the accounts but still unable to delete. Am I going to have to live with this mistake or is there a way to handle other than marking as inactive. Thank you very much for your help.

I believe that if you delete the Contribution Funds from the Contribution module that point to your Temporarily Restricted Income accounts, that should free them up so that you can delete the restricted accounts in Fund Accounting.

You may not even have to delete the Contribution Funds. Just go in and change the income account to something else.

A technical person from Powerchurch may want to verify or clarify this.
