Vendor Type

Post by F12Mahon »

I was looking at one of our "vendors" and saw the box for vendor type. the only reference I could find in the help file was the example of utilities...UT. Is this two letter entry something we can make up ourselves? Is there a list somewhere of standard types? Two letters doesn't leave much room. I suppose missions could be MI. Newspaper could be NP. Or LI for literature. Book store could be LI or BK for book. I don't see much use for it. Is this something larger organizations use?

Its an optional data item that can be used in any way the using organization wishes. You could segregate venders by ministry area, as you show Utilities, whatever you wish.
