Hello,
I would like to request the following wish list items for future updates:
1. Would like to be able to delete accounting data by fund number. For instance, if I have old accounting data in Fund 02, I want to be able to delete that entire fund number with all accounting data without affecting the data in Fund 01. Right now they both share account numbers and I can't get rid of the history of just one of them.
2. Payroll Item Summary Report Grouped by Department. I would like to get one total report with each department listed. Right now I have to run each department separately.
Thanks!
Tena

Re: Wish List Items
Um ... you know you really can't delete financial information for at least 7 years. You can make the accounts under Fund 02 inactive, so they won't appear. Once the 7 years are up, you can then clear out the history, and permanently delete those accounts under Fund 02. Just a reminder of unintended consequences.tena20719 wrote:Hello,

Re: Wish List Items
Hey Neil, thanks for the reply. My end goal is trying to clean up my chart of accounts and free up some of my account numbers. I figured out a workaround solution. I am going to create a lump income account and lump expense account for those funds. Then I can move all of the income and expense transactions into those lump accounts and that will free up my account numbers.
Let me know if you see a problem with my solution.
I really appreciate your input.

Re: Wish List Items
Frankly, I'd talk with an accountant before you do anything. When was the last time anything in Fund Account 2 was used ??tena20719 wrote:Hey Neil, thanks for the reply. And definitely do a complete backup before you do anything, and save that backup to a CD and finalize the CD. Label it, date it, and put it in the files with a memo about why its there.
