Posted Payroll is Missing!

Post by k9vet »

I use V 11.55. I processed 6 payroll checks dated Feb 1. I then went to "post payroll" to Fund Accounting, and clicked, but now those 6 checks do not show in the View Posted Transactions list, but the software says they have been posted. Where are they and what did I do wrong?! And how do I fix this??

Are they in the Funds Accounting unposted transactions list? Remember posting to the Posted Transactions is a two step process. Post from AP/Payroll/Contributions, then posting transactions in Funds Accounting.

The other reason could be has someone overwritten the database with a restore ??

Thanks. I forgot about the two-step process, but I also had forgotten to close month of Feb 14 and change working month to Feb 15,
since these checks were dated Feb 2!

So glad you are there so solve such problems!

Scot .. if you have your system setup to keep 18 months open, you don't have to worry about closing last years Feb before you can open this years. Gives you some flexibility.
