Greetings! New Associate Pastor, trying to learn PC+ (we are running v11.55). I just spent two weeks filling in for our Admin/Bookkeeper, and our Senior Pastor, so I have had a crash course on managing cash flow.
We aren't using PC+ to its full capabilities; I'm trying to implement some process improvements to change that.
Our finances are tight, so knowing exactly how much money we have, and what expenses are coming up in the next 30 days is critically important.
I've been playing with the Cash Management Report, and think I can make it do what I want, with the significant exception that I cannot figure out how to make it reflect upcoming payroll cycles (we run payroll weekly).
In the short term, I've built an Excel spreadsheet that I'm using to track upcoming expenses, including future payroll cycles, but I'd prefer not to do dual entry.
I would appreciate any insight/suggestions. Ultimate goal is to be able to demonstrate with a single report whether we are in the black, and what level of income we need to stay there.
Thanks,
Greg

Re: Cash Management Report with Pending Payroll?
Powerchurch accounting is Cash Based, therefore anything that has not been processed, cannot be 'spoken for' so to speak. Until you actually cut the checks in Payroll (and I believe post payroll), the system will not allocate any funds.Husky44 wrote:Greetings!
