Percentage Based Pay

Hello,

We have an employee that will be paid on a monthly basis, but not at a specific rate. We will be paying him based off a percentage of the excess of Contributions after all bills have been paid. We are trying to set him up as a monthly employee and the monthly pay will vary. Without an hourly rate or salary, I am having an issue setting him up to be paid. Does Power Church Plus support this option and if so, how can it be done?

What you would have to do is this:

1. Set the employee up with a base salary ... basically guess at what an average would be.
2. Then setup all the proper Federal, state & local tax pay items.
3. When it comes time to pay him, you can adjust the salary on the Verify Payroll screen by double clicking on the employee's line, and entering the excess Contribution amount available at that time. The system will then recalculate all the taxes automatically.
