Can a corrected entry be made for a closed month? What effect does this have?
Also, if a check is voided and corrections are posted after reconciliation has been completed, what effect does it have on the reconciliation.

Re: effect on closed month
Once a month is closed, you cannot post any new transactions into it.
The software allows you to have up to 18 months open at a time, which is designed to be plenty of time for corrections and voids to be made before closing.

so if I made a change on a long ago month and it posted, I must not have closed the month??????

If it was in the 18 month spread, more than likely, yes.bsbrown wrote:so if I made a change on a long ago month and it posted, I must not have closed the month??????
If you have the 18 months open today, and you have January as your current month, then you would have from August 2014. Next month, when you want to change to February as your working month, you would have to close August 2014 in order to do so.
