Hi,
I'm new... looking to see how to issue a check to a one time vender. Is it possible?
Thanks,

Re: One Time Vendors
You have to have a vendor in order to write out any check. However, nothing says that after this year you can't moved the vendor from active to inactive. However, you must have a vendor in order to provide a full audit trail to show exactly to whom the funds were paid out to.MVA wrote:Hi,

IMHO .. having another vendor record is preferable to not having one or creating a catchall vendor as that leaves the Treasurer open to accusations of not having a specific audit trail, and charges of malfeasance.
