Fund accounts to Accounting

Post by MVA »

Hello,
I am wondering, if there is a way to change the account that the funds are synchronized to?
Thanks for any help.

Um ... Debby, could you be more specific?

Do you mean the account that is the 'closed to' account in Funds Accounting? Or are you talking about Contributions Funds which are mapped to the Income and Banking accounts in Funds Accounting.

If you mean the first, yes you can do this, but its not advisable for normal accounts.

If you mean the second, yes you can change the income and checking (bank) account by going into Contributions -> Setup -> Maintain List of Contribution Funds find the contribution fund you want to update, then head to the Accounting tab to change the mapped Fund Accounting accounts.
