Balance Sheets for 2014 & 2015

Post by madonna »

My books are closed as of 12/31/15. I need balance sheets for 2014 and 2015 and can't run them.
I understand closing the books prevents adding transactions, but can't we still run reports on closed figures?

I keep the maximum number of months open, which is 18, here. But I am able to get balance sheet reports as far back as 2004. Are you getting any kind of error message or does the report just not respond?

I agree with Tom, you should be able to pull reports for as far back as you have data.

Are you saying you can't change the YEAR on the report screen that pops up ??
Neil Zampella

Using PC+ since 1999.

Yes, I cannot change the year. But I figured it out. I "started over" this year because ...... just did.
Anyway, that's why. Thanks for the replies though!

Do you have a backup of data before you started over. If you do you can restore that and get the information you want. Be very careful if you do this and be sure to make a backup of the current data or you will lose this years data.
