Hello!
We discovered that an employee received a A/P check for a stipend. As we now realize this should have been put thru payroll, so it could be counted as income with taxes taken out. Is there a way with PowerChurch to undo this? The employee would prefer to not have to pay us back and then to just get the money back via payroll. Is there a way to create a payroll payment that doesn't produce a payment, but allows us to tax him for the stipend that would just come out of the next check?
Thanks for any advise the community can provide.

Re: Convert A/P Check to a Payroll Check
Well, he's going to have to pay the taxes that will be taken out one way or another, so the employee will have to write the church a check for the withheld taxes, or in the next payroll, you can create a special one-time pay item that will deduct the amount of the taxes owed as an after-tax deduction.jerryrus wrote:Hello!

You'll have to void the current check in the system, and then reissue the number for the replacement check entry.
