Can you make a year end transaction when you have closed December already?

Why did you Close December?? There is no need to close any month until you need to, for the very reason you are asking the question, there may be something you still need to post/correct/delete. You can have 18 months open at any time. This topic can give you a good idea why its good to leave months open: https://www.powerchurch.com/forum/viewt ... =3&t=11388

As far as this is concerned, you can set a transaction as a 'year end' transaction and date it the 1st of January, however, this will not affect any reports or totals from 2016.

However, did you really mean 'CLOSE or did you mean that you changed the working month to January. In which case December is not closed, you can add a year end transaction and date it 12/31/2016.
