Making Inactive account Active again

Post by FBCWM »

Why is it not possible for me to check the "Active" box in "Maintain Chart of Accounts" when I just unchecked it to "Inactive" a few minutes ago by mistake? An error message stating "The account is not active" keeps coming up. I've tried to move / rename with no luck. I move it, and it is still inactive. :wall: I'm in PANIC mode as I NEED this particular account to be active. Please please help!

Should I just do a restore from backup? I backed up the whole program yesterday afternoon.

OK ... try this:

1. Run a REINDEX of the database. Utilities -> Reindex
2. When this is done, close the program
3. Restart the program, and then try to make the account active again.

You should be able to make any account active from inactive.

Did you do a Powerchurch backup ?? If so, and the above did not work, by all means, restore.
