Changing the account payroll taxes go into

Post by Turning Point »

I have just taken over the accounting for our church. We use a service for payroll but still need to keep track of the taxes paid. The person who set our system up has Federal, Social Security and Medicare all coming out of the same fund. I need to change it so they all come out of the correct fund but can't see how to do it.

We have the funds set up in PC already, it's just payroll is not putting the money in the correct spot.

Thanks for any help.

The accounts used are setup under the Maintain Item Descriptions function of Payroll. Find the those tax items, and then change the accounts used.
