Budget Report

Post by athomas »

Is anyone aware of any changes with the budget report. Up until now and have been printing for years with saved excel files to bear witness, Normally I run the report for example: February 2018 thru December 2018 with a code 6 and the report would give the current february amount, the budgeted yearly amount and the difference. Now it apparently is also picking up March, 2018 and including in the current amount. If I run it for just 2-18, only shows february budgeted amount and not yearly. I'll call support tomorrow but was trying to do report for conference.

I can honestly say that I'm not seeing that issue here.

Have you done a database reindex lately?? You said you were going to call support, did you do that?

Sorry that the last post shifted so what I was trying to show didn't work. Didn't get much help from support; very frustrating. I may have figured out the issue has to do with when I post. I'll continue to experiment. Thanks for the response.

About when you post? Do you mean the date you post? That would affect any report, as unposted may not show up on the budget report if there isn't an option to include it on the option screen.

As far as support, that surprises me. They are usually very helpful.

Last month I may have posted some payroll earlier than I normally did in the past and this affected the budget report. As far as support, I have no complaint as they are usually very helpful. This time though, it seemed all he wanted to do was argue that it must be something I am doing rather than try to help me figure it out.
