Expense Classification for Background Checks (Child Protection)
I'm curious...should the background checks expense for child protection be classified as an Administrative or Ministry expense?

That said, you need to talk to your governing board/Session/council to see where they want the expense shown, and properly budget for that expense,

Depends ... if they are staff, I'd say they are administrative.
