Chart of Accounts

I am new to this accounting software and my question is, Can you manually enter a Chart of Accounts? There are alot on here we don't use and never will. We are a very small church of 100 families. I need the Chart of Accounts simplified. Any suggestions?

When you set up your accounting using the Accounting Setup Assistant, the program is going to set up a pretty complete chart of accounts for you. If you don't want or need all that it includes, you can just delete the accounts you don't want. The only problem you may run into is if you try to delete the accounts associated with the sample Payroll entries. You'll have to remove those from Payroll first. There's not a way to enter a brand new chart of accounts completely from scratch.
