Sorry,
Puzzling through old mess of some 15 funds and the many accounts...finding myself still confused. The general operating checking account number, -1111-000 seems to function altogether with the different funds, e.g. 01-1111-000, 02-1111-000, 12-1111-000, 36-1111-000. Is it supposed to be this way? I'm confused still after almost a year of trying accounting with Power Church about what an account number is/does. The Trial Balance report confuses me. (yeah, I'm not really accountant-trained)
Is the fund balance really the correct place to see the $ we have in that fund at present?
I have money market accounts assigned to funds 02 and 10, and for one of them the principle shows up with fund 01, that is, 01-1250-000 but the interest is showing up in 10-1250-000; in the other, both show up with the 02-asset number.
Actually I'm fixing to do a fresh start, but I do need to know what money I really have!

Yes, as you are seeing with the checking account 1111, PowerChurch Plus will *consolidate* balances for account numbers used in multiple funds. This principle applies to any type of account, not just checking. If you had a contributions income account 4100-000 used in each fund, it would work the same as you are seeing your 1111 account across multiple funds.
