budget ? - acct. no longer required

Post by hamrickdt »

Just wondering...we have a few detail accounts this year that we have not allocated money to...I thought that I would go in and change the description from'budget directly on this account' to 'no budget for this account' (just in case there were any questions - someone scanning a report wouldn't think I just missed putting in the numbers)...but when I tried to change it, there was a confirmation box saying that "This will remove the budgets from ALL years attached to this account". I don't want to do that and lose the budget history on this account...
So, when there is no money set aside for an account for the year, is it best just to leave it as is with a $0?

I hope this makes sense!

Thanks!
