Using PC Online-located in North Carolina-Windows machine
Is anyone successfully using the Reclaimable Sales Tax feature? As a non-profit, it is beneficial to file for reclaimable sales tax, however, it takes an enormous amount of time to enter info into an excel spreadsheet and then complete the forms to file for the return. If you have a process for this procedure, would you please share.
It would be nice if the reclaimable sales tax process was similar to the quarterly 941 with e-filing or is this wishful thinking.
Thanks.

Re: Reclaimable Sales Tax
The only thing that is specific to North Carolina that is not handled automatically by the built-in Reclaimable Sales Tax functionality in PowerChurch is the requirement to report on sales tax paid county by county. We have seen users in the past work around this requirement by changing the Line Description on the sales tax detail line in the transactions to show the name of the county the sales tax was paid to. That way, you can run an Account Activity report or something similar and see the list of counties that were paid during that period.
