transactions not showing up

All is well thru 5-13 of this year. We have written 8 checks in the last week and a half that are not showing up anywhere. Not in Posted Transactions, not in Modify Unposted Transactions, not in the check register, cant find that they exist anywhere except on the check stubs that I have. Any ideas where they may be or what may have happened? I have check stubs and its only been a couple of weeks, so if I have to re-enter, not a big problem, but I am lost as to what else to try. Any help will be appreciated!!

I'm going to ask the obvious questions:
1. Have they been posted from Accounts Payable?
2. Has anyone done a backup restore after the checks were written?? (in 11 and 11.5, you can look at the system audit log under Utilities to see when the last restore was done).

Thanks Neil!
I guess the obvious is always the best place to start. REgular Secretary is out this week and I'm trying to fill in. Forgot about the double posting. Thanks for your help!!

You're welcome ...
those are usually the first two questions I ask, as its very easy to forget to post from AP, AR or Payroll, even Contributions

The same thing is happening to me. Everything I have posted after 5/14 is not showing up on my reports. The check register shows the checks issued on 5/15 but nothing after that.
We have not done a back up either. Is there anyway to recover this information?
HELP!!!

As I asked above : Have you posted from Accounts Payable ?? Have you posted in Funds Accounting ??
If you didn't do a backup, and no one did a restore, then the transactions should be somewhere in an unposted queue.
This is also why, a backup AT LEAST WEEKLY is always a good thing.

Yes, I did post from A/P. Nothing is showing up under 'unposted transactions' either.
The activity log shows that I posted both fund accounting and A/P and yet the transactions do not appear in reports.

OK ... in which case, are they showing in the posted transactions queue ??
Also, forgot to ask, which version of Powerchurch are you using ?? Prior to version 11, transactions will post to the currently open month. Version 11+ will post to the month the transaction was setup for.
