Setting up Direct Deposit

Post by santoheath »

I have recently set up direct deposit for our church and want to begin using it. We have entered all the information in the employee and payroll set up. We have also set up an account with Vanco to facilitate the direct deposit. My question is: when I process payroll, do I also need to go to the Vanco website and enter the payroll information, or does PowerChurch automatically send it to Vanco?

You have to process the payroll locally, then enter the data at Vanco. I suspect that is a feature we may see in version 12, whenever that will be ;)

PowerChurch creates a file that you import into the Vanco site. When you process payroll, the last step gives you the options to print checks, print stubs, and create the direct deposit file.

Zorak ..... my bad ... one of those features I've not had a chance to use, or have had people ask about. Good to know for future.
