printing balance sheet problem

Hello,

I'm printing a balance sheet and there is plenty of room (like 1/3rd of the page) left for it to print the last line, TOTAL LIABILITIES AND EQUITY, but the report is adding a second page and printing it on the top of that page instead of on the first page. Not sure why ????

It sounds like you have the "Page Break After Account" checkbox checked on one of your liability accounts. To find out which account it is, run the Detail Chart of Accounts report in Fund Accounting. Scan the column that has "Page Break" in it for an account that has a "Y" next to it. To fix, go to Maintain Chart of Accounts, pull up the account, uncheck the "Page Break After Account" checkbox, and click Save.

Nobody has any ideas???
It seems no matter what level I print the report at (4,5,6), it adds a page at the end to have the last line TOTAL LIABILITIES AND EQUITY print on it.

It may be that no one else is seeing this type of issue, I know I don't. What are you using as a printer? Do you have the latest drivers installed ?

When you save the report as a MS Word file, does that extra page break get saved also?

Have you run the Detail Chart of Accounts report? It gives you a pretty easy view to scroll down through the list of accounts, verifying that all the accounts have no page break set.

You can actually use the Find button (binoculars icon) to search the text of the report for "page break: y" to see if it finds more than just the 4000 account.

You're absolutely right. I did have another page break I wasn't aware of/forgot about, after the last 3000 asset account. Thank you for helping me find it, the balance sheet report prints perfectly now.
