Tax Tables
Does the federal tax table change each year? If so, where do I find the new table? I tried irs.gov but could not find it there. Maybe that means the table has not changed?
Re: Tax Tables
Quick Tip: Do a search in the Knowledgebase first, lots of good articles there:RGWalk wrote:Does the federal tax table change each year? If so, where do I find the new table? I tried irs.gov but could not find it there. Maybe that means the table has not changed?
Here's the one on the Federal Tax Tables: https://www.powerchurch.com/support/kb. ... 140&type=1
You can also find instructions on updating your state tax table by searching the Knowledgebase for (yourstate) tax table.
The Knowledgebase can be found here: https://www.powerchurch.com/support/kb. ... articles=1

Re: Tax Tables
If you go to this site, download Publication 15 for 2014. All the federal tax info is in there including tax tables and the figures needed for PC+.

Re: Tax Tables
Neil, I am using PC11.55 and the new payroll module for 2015. Just to confirm, the take-home pay of our employees has dropped for 2015 even if nothing else was changed, correct? (Based on what you said in another posting on this subject).

Re: Tax Tables
If you correctly changed the Federal Income Tax tables (both single and married), the system will correctly calculate the required withholding. This also holds true for any changes in Social Security withholding (if necessary), as well as state and local tax changes.k9vet wrote:Neil, I am using PC11.55 and the new payroll module for 2015.
