Help! I am looking for a simple report to view activity on an account - money coming in and money going out. That sounds simple but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I want to see my restricted funds money coming in and going to so I know where the balance comes from. My balance sheet is reporting something different than the Account Activity Report (which isn't showing much information).

If I want to see money come in (income) and money going out (expense) with the balance, wouldn't that be looking at the Net Asset Account? I'm confused on how this works tracking money.

Run the Detail Changes in Equity report on the restricted funds equity account for the time period you are interested in reviewing. I think this report will show you the income and expense entries you are looking for.
