When using the above command, I get an error message "no items were found to process". What should I do so there will be items? Thanks. When this is available, is it the place to enter employers SS and Medicaid. Thanks.

In Payroll / Setup / Maintain Item Descriptions / ADD (some type of deduction)
You have to include an AP Vendor in the Item Description in order to create an AP Entry.
The Social Security number and the Medicaid get assigned to the employee in Payroll / Maintain Employee List
which is where you will also attach this deduction, after you create it.

What about the employer's portion of SS and Medicaid. Where is it entered?

I checked the maintain item descriptions and I had several deductions included with an AP vendor. Still getting message "no items were found to process". Any more thoughts.
