Payroll Processing not calculating amounts

I'm adding new employees and including Federal/State/SSI/Medicare tax deductions. When I process the payroll for these new employees, the system does not calculate the amounts for these items. Other pre-existing employees work fine, but the new ones created are not calculating the amounts. Any ideas?

I'm using v11.1 with Windows 7 Ultimate OS

Check the salary items for the employees. Are they setup as taxable? When you added the deduction, did you select a tax table?

Bingo! The position that the new persons went into was not set as taxable. I made the change and ran the payroll and it worked!
