PAYROLL-Can't Print Rev's Check! WHY??

I am frustrated and mystified! I entered my pastor's name, yearly salary and chose the Biweekly pay option and put him in Pay Group "H" by
himself in the Maintain Employees list window. Next under Maintain Employee Pay Items, his window shows Pay Group H and the correct amount in the "Earns $ per pay period" box.
Then, when I choose "print payroll checks" and choose Paygroup H and click OK, the Print Payroll Checks window appears and says, "No checks to process".

I tried the Manual Checks option, too, and when I got to the Post Transaction window, there IS NO BOX TO CHECK for "Print Check"!
I have struggled for over an hour to try to get PC Plus version to print this check; NOTHING has worked. I had to fill a check out by hand.
PLEASE explain what is wrong! Thank you.

What do you see when you run the Process Payroll function?

Oh .. sorry about that .. the entire Payroll System was revised in version 10, and I don't have it installed any longer.

My own opinion here: your church board/pastor should consider upgrading to v 11.5 as v 9 is no longer supported with updates. The cost is very reasonable ($149 + $10 shipping), and it provides you with much better reporting, payroll, contributions, etc.

That said:
Manual Checks will not show a box to print, as it is indeed a manual check, you physically write out the check and then enter the number used. You use it when you have electronic payments, you have non-computer checks, and so on.

Just enter the number of the check being used, and then write the check using pen and ink.
