I've got a fund that's no longer being used and I'd like to close it. When I go to Maintain List of Accounting Funds and hit "Close". The menu disappears but nothing happens - the fund still appears in my reporting when I select it as part of range. The link below takes you to a screenshot of what I'm seeing
Any idea on how to tidy this up?
Thanks!

P.S. Is image upload here not a thing?

You cannot close a fund. You can delete it, but if you have transactions posted in the fund, you have to delete them first, and you really can't delete that information for at least 7 years or so (depending on how you read the IRS regs).
You can renumber the fund to something that is outside the range you use. Say you use Fund numbers 01 thru 30, you can renumber the fund to 999 to get it outside of the normal range.
Here's the information as shown in the built-in Powerchurch help file (and in the manual, which is exactly the same):
Hope this helps. You may have an occasion, after an Accounting Fund has remained unused for a period of time, that you wish to remove the fund from your books. For example, a Building Fund established to construct a new education facility which was completed ten years ago.
Note: You cannot delete a fund that has transactions posted to it. You must first delete all the transaction history that has affected accounts in the fund. Refer to Deleting Fund Accounting Data.
1. Click Find or Locate to select the Accounting Fund to delete, then click Delete.
2. Click Yes to confirm deletion.
As far as images, there have been spammers who have loaded inappropriate images to the site, which are not always caught by the admins before they're seen by users, so that function has been turned off.
