I am fairly new to this accounting side so this may be redundant to some. When I was posting the transactions in Fund Accounting, my May Contributions were in there twice.I have no idea what I did to get that. They are not duplicated on the Contributions side. So I went ahead and just posted one set of them, but how do I get them out of Fund Accounting? I am using 10.4 version.
Thanks for any help!

I can only assume what happened as to how they got there. Someone backed up Contributions, before they were posted, then posted Contributions. They then restored that part of the database, then someone who did not realized that they were originally posted, posted again to fund accounting, instead of just to contributions. Again, just an assumption. There is another reason you may have dups as listed below.dione wrote:I am fairly new to this accounting side so this may be redundant to some. Now, since you said they are exactly the same transaction, that is, there were no changes done in contributions at all (debits & credits are done to the same account), then since they're sitting in Funds Accounting Unposted Transactions, you can delete the one you did not post.
However, if they are not exactly the same, then you may have to verify which is the NEWER transaction, and post that one. If the older transaction was posted, you may have to reverse that in Funds Accounting.
