Cannot Print 941

Cannot Print 941

When trying to print the 941 I get an error that states An Acrobat PDF Software was not found. I have the latest version installed on my computer. Is there somewhere that I need to tell the program where to look for the PDF software? I did not have this issue in the previous quarters when printing the 941.

More than likely with Windows 10, the last major update changed the file relationship in the OS, its really not a Powerchurch issue, but a Windows one.

You need to do this:

From the START menu select SETTINGS -> SYSTEM -> Default Apps, at the bottom of this windows (you may have to scroll down to see it) click on the link that says Choose default apps by file type.

Scroll down until you find .PDF . If its not set to the latest version of Acrobat Reader for Windows 10 named Adobe Acrobat Reader DC click on the file that's there (or the choose an app if there isn't a default setup), and look for the Acrobat Reader DC in the list.

Set the .PDF to use the new reader, then close the Setting window. Close Powerchurch, then reopen, you should now be able to print the 941.

Thanks for the update, I kinda figured that was the issue having had to reset that on a few WIn 10 computers I have access to.
