Change working month

Hi, everyone. I am having a problem changing the working month. I am only receiving the option of working months from Nov. 2004 (months closed prior to that) to April 2005. I have entered all info for May, but cannot post any of it. What am I doing wrong? I have never had a problem changing the working month before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the setup for fund accounting, you have an option to tell the system how many months you can have open at the same time. It looks like you have it set up for 6 months to be open at the same time. Either change that number to a higher value, or close your earliest open month, to allow for changing to May. (This is assuming you are on version 9. In earlier versions you could only have the current month open, and were also able to post corrections to no more than the previous month, after it was closed.

Thank you! I knew that you can have up to a year open, but I assumed that was already set. I had a feeling it was going to be a really simple answer.

We're seeing a lot of this happening this week since everyone who started using v9 in January isn't able to move into July. Lincolnda is exactly right.
