Reporting questions

First of all, I do not personally opperate the software, I am from IT at our church attempting to create a solution.
As of now, our department uses 2 versions of the same year; one for general accounting and a separate for payroll. The reason for this is our general ledger is open to the public, but we want to protect the privacy of the employees by not posting their income and salary. Is there a way when printing these reports to filter out that information?
