Combine accounts
I have 2 accounts that I want to combine into one. They each have transactions in them since January 1. Is there a way to combine all the transactions into one new account without having to retype all the transactions.

Re: Combine accounts
Sorry. I think I described my problem incorrectly. I have 2 fund accounts. One is my general Fund acct(GF) and the other is my daycare(DC)
Each fund account has its own chart of accounts and their own set of transactions. I want to take(or move) all of the transactions from my daycare fund account and move them into the general fund account. In this way I would now only have one fund account, the GF, and I can delete the daycare account. I have two checking accounts and I want to close the DC checking account at my bank and move all the money to the GF checking account, so that I have one actual checking account and one fund account in Power Church.
Does this make sense??
thanks for help

Here's something to try:
1. Do a backup of the Accounting tables using the Poewrchurch backup utility.
2. Try moving one of the accounts in the DC account to a NEW account number under the GF account.
3. If that works, move the new account number into the account you want to merge it with in the GF account.
If that works, do that for the other accounts under the DC.
If it didn't work, restore the Accounting database from the backup.
