Reconciling CK. using Reconciliation Module -- Prior Yrs

We have PowerChurch v. 11.55. We have been using PowerChurch (PC) for over 10 yrs. We previously have not been using the built-in checking account reconciliation module, but now (2016) want to begin using it. (Previously, we used a spreadsheet to reconcile our checking account). Since none of our checks were marked "C" (cleared) in the system for over 10 years, how can we use or update the reconciliation module so that we may now (2016) use it?
Please help ASAP.
