errors with 2nd installation of PC

Installed PC in a separate folder/directory for school and it is giving all kind of errors - File "background app" does not exist, API library is not found and will not run. Any suggestions. How do I get rid of the second installation?

How did you install it, from the CD? You should be able to find it in the Control Panel's Programs and Features to remove it. However, if you don't see a second instance, then I'd just delete the desktop icon, and the folders from the computer.

It sounds like you may have just installed a Maintenance Release instead of the full program. MRs only contain files that have been updated.
