Releasing Contribution Statements for EOY

Using Powerchurch 11.1 and Windows 6.02. Once December 2016 contributions have been posted and reconciled in Powerchurch, when should the Contribution Statements be ran and given to our contributors? Do I need to do additional tasks before they can be released? Thank you.

Using Powerchurch 11.1 and Windows 6.02. Once December 2016 contributions have been posted and reconciled in Powerchurch, when should the Contribution Statements be ran and given to our contributors? Do I need to do additional tasks before they can be released? Thank you.

1. The IRS says they just need to arrive at the donor's address prior to Jan 31st. Since we close our contributions as of Dec 31st, our statements are available for the congregation to pick up about a week later. We put them out so we can save a few cents on postage. If they're not picked up by the 25th, in the mail they go.

2. As long as you have posted the Contributions, you can start printing.
