Help me smart people!
I need to be able to post a transaction and I can't figure out the right way to do it.
I'm moving $5,000 from one checking account - 01-1110-000 to 24-1140.000. However, the money is in fund 24 and can't look like an expense for a deposit to that fund. If I just use the checking account lines I'm not able to reconcile. The $ has to show up as leaving one bank and entering the other -- but not as income or an expense to the fund.
I'm befuddled.

Transfer accounts ... these are covered starting on page 228 of the PCPlus v11.x manual, or in the PCPLUS115.PDF found in the \Powerchurch\PCPLUS115 directory.
You would use these to transfer funds between accounts. There is an example of exactly what you want to do on page 229.

I tried using transfer accounts but it didn't work. The problem is I'm not moving money from one fund to another. But simply from one checking account to another within the fund. I'm sure it's just me, but nothing I've done is working.

Rose .. you're moving from 01-1110-000, to 24-1140-000
The first two digits of the account number signifies an Accounting Fund. With what you're showing me here, I see
two separate accounting funds being addressed.. 01 usually defaults to the Operating Fund in Powerchurch, 24 is a fund that was created at your congregation.
Please show me the transfer account transaction you tried to use.
