account activity report for bank acct. vs. check register

I have run the account activity for the bank account and also the check register for the same account, same period. There are transactions reflected on the account activity report that do not appear on the register nor on the unposted transactions report.
Why would this be?

Not knowing the type of transactions you're talking about, its impossible to say.
However, does the account reconcile properly ??
