Hope you can help - just became treasurer - Equity report showed money in Annie Armstrong Acct. Found that original transaction did not take into account the Annie Armstrong Offering.

ORIGINAL Transaction

What would be the best solution at this point - (I really want to zero out the Annie Armstrong Fund Balance) since I am unable to get into the closed months? Thanks in advance.

What I would do is this. You can't go back to the closed months, but you can create a transaction to take care of the issue now. Just include as much information in the note block of the transaction as you can. Explain why the transaction was created, and why its necessary so the account can be zeroed out.

FYI - Version 12 now allows you to reopen closed months. As a PowerChurch Online user, you have already been upgraded to V12. To reopen a month, should you choose to go that route, go to Accounting > Fund Accounting > Setup and choose Reopen a Month.

DOH ... trying to undo 10 years or so of being unable to open closed months is hard
