How do we transfer money from one bank account to another bank account in the system? (Each month we transfer money from our main account into other accounts for savings etc. - we are not sure how to make that happen in PowerChurch.)

I'm going to assume this is done through Online Banking, right?

In that case, using the following as examples: Checking: 01-1110-000, Savings: 01-1210-000

1. Go into the Accounting -> Funds Accounting -> Enter Transactions function.
2. When transferring $1000.00 to savings the transaction would be:
01-1110-000 CR 1000.00
01-1210-000 DB 1000.00

3. When transfering $1000.00 from savings to checking
01-1210-000 DR 1000.000
01-1110-000 DB 1000.000

When you go to reconcile the accounts, you'll see the DB transaction under the Deposits section of the reconciliation screen for the DB account, and the CR as under the Checks and other deductions for the CR account.
