Account Receivable Version 12 online

Post by FirstMOBC »

Why isn't Accounts Receivable not set-up as default account in the chart of accounts. I also notice that when I post my A/R it shows up on the Bank Reconciliation with $0.00 and as checks and other subtractions instead of a deposit and other additions.

Are you starting to use AR now, or were you using it before? If you were using it before, and it didn't convert properly, you may need to call Powerchurch directly. As an Online user, you have free support.

If you didn't use it before, then you have to create the accounts as the system only has what you've used before.

Not knowing what you have or haven't done in the past there's not much we can say here. I suggest you call directly.

We started AR in 2016. So I will have to go to support. Thank you for directions.

If I understand your question correctly - PowerChurch is a cash-basis accounting system, so it doesn't track Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable on the balance sheet, as an accrual accounting system would. Accounting transactions don't happen in PowerChurch/cash-basis accounting until money actually changes hands.
