Maintain List of Employees Manual Entry?

I am still working on getting Powerchurch setup and have entered all of the church members into the Membership module. I have completed the accounting setup and I'm ready to enter information for the list of employees for the payroll. Is the "Maintain List of Employees" under the Payroll module not integrated with the Membership module? Seems like I shouldn't have to manually enter the contact information again since its already stored. Did I miss a step somewhere?

Two separate databases, Accounting and Membership. That said, such a link may be added sometime in the future, as there's now such a link for AR, but this is the first time I've ever seen a request for such a data import link on the forums.
I know that many churches do not hire members for paid positions as it can cause issues if there is a need to let the employee go, so that may be why its not one I've seen asked for in the past.

Thanks for your response. Maybe something to consider for future updates IF our church isn't the only one who hire church members.
