Reconcile bank acct. problem

Post by Patricia »

I forgot to change the date when I started to reconcile, I went back and changed the date but now I have two reconciliations open and double the amounts. How can I close the one that is empty (except for the beginning and ending balances)?

I have not found a way to do this easily. What I've done is take the one I didn't mean to create, uncheck everything so that nothing is reconciled, and click on done. You'll get a window pop up basically saying that you've not really done anything in the reconcile, are you sure you want to say its done. Just click on the FINISH button.

That will basically close it out, but nothing would have been checked off. Then just use the other one normally.
