Effective date processing question

Post by Tammy Betty »

Does Power Church utilize 'Effective Date Processing"? Example I need to make some changes to the COA for the beginning of my budget year. If I make the changes using the beginning of year date will they not be effective until that date or will they take effect immediately?
I am running Power Church on Windows 10 and not on the internet

thank you

Changes to the Chart of Accounts take effect immediately. If you don't want to see the accounts until the start of the next fiscal year, you can make them inactive, then activate them at that time, but there is no setting to 'turn them on' at a certain date.
