I have a temporary restricted equity accounts that are closing into the unrestricted net assets. How do I change the close to feature so they do not close to unrestricted net assets?

You should be able to designate where the account closes to the on the account details dialog. Go to Maintain Chart of Accounts, select the account in question, click on details. You should see the dialog page that shows Account Information specific to this fund that has a 'magnifying glass' , I believe you can change this there.

Now you must have a restricted account setup so you can change to it, but I beleive that's all there is to it.

However, I"m going by the manual, and there may be an accounting reason why you can't do it in the middle of an accounting year.
