SSN not properly displaying in Payroll

Post by neac »

Hi,
does anyone else's show random characters assigned to the SSN? I didn't set up the employee information so I don't know if this is normal.
We have former employees whose info shows the actual numbers.
Thanks

Are you talking about the payroll stub?

No, in power church. For all of the current employees, it shows random characters, something like this: xi_'sS|**QG.

Some of our former staff have SSN entered and it shows the actual numbers.

On the paystub it actually shows: --

I've created a new topic as the one you replied to does not have anything to do with this issue.

Do this:

Perform a database REINDEX from the Powerchurch utilties menu. Then check the SSN to see if that fixed the issue.
If that did not work, let us know.

Yes, this has happened to us. I just reentered the correct SS numbers and this has not happened again for some time. Never knew what caused the problem.
