Closing the end of Year

I am trying to close the year in 8.5 and have several items that were not posted correctly. Can I correct a item that was posted in July even though the month was closed.

How can I do it?

Do I have yo make an end of year adjustment to correct the July Mistake?

Once a month is closed you cannot post any transactions to it. You will need to input the corrections in a month that is still open.
