I have just revamped the GL expense account structure, using the appropriate levels to get the desired report subtotals. However on the Income and Expense statement I get the result as shown below. I'm only getting a subtotal for the first GROUP3 and GROUP2 and after that no subtotals at all. What's the problem here? I was expecting each GROUP3 and GROUP2 to be subtotaled.

Never mind. It's all working fine now, as it should. I'll answer my own question.
This is a new fiscal year for us and there was very little posted yet. The budget figures were also not yet posted. So, apparently until you post some expenses and/or budget figures in accounts in each group, the group subtotaling doesn't show up.
