In setting up payroll for the Pastor, do I assign the "Social Security Offset" (employer's part) of salary and housing as an employer liability for a pay item on his check? In my current program, I used this line only when paying 941s and on his W2s. I have assigned his part of Social Security as a deduction item.

I think that's normally an employer liability, but you might want to check with a tax accountant to be sure.
